Bhatkal: Continuing its legacy of academic excellence, students of Bhatkal Anjuman College for Women have once again brought laurels to the institution by securing top ranks at the university level. Demonstrating outstanding performance in the academic year 2024–25, the students have achieved a total of five ranks at Karnataka State Women’s University, Vijayapura, reaffirming the institution’s strong academic standing.
According to a press release issued by the Principal of Anjuman College for Women, Raisa Shaikh, two BCA students — Umme Hani, D/o Abdul Azeez Pillur, and Surrayya, D/o Mohammed Gouse Saifulla — secured the first rank jointly with an impressive 90.80 per cent.
In the BBA section, Maryam Hana, D/o Mohammed Ashfaque Kappa, clinched the second rank across the university by scoring 89.64 per cent.
Meanwhile, Fatima Salomi, D/o Abdul Salam Damudi, a BCom student, secured the third rank with an excellent 94.72 per cent, while Seeneen, D/o Mohammed Shuaib Barmawar, from the BSc department achieved the fourth rank by scoring 94.36 per cent.
The remarkable academic achievement of the college has drawn widespread appreciation. Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen President Yunus Kazia, General Secretary Ishaq Shabandari, along with other office-bearers, congratulated the Principal, faculty members and all the rank-holding students. They attributed the success to the students’ dedication, the guidance of the teaching staff and the institution’s disciplined academic environment, and expressed confidence that the college would continue to achieve similar milestones in the future.
