Bhatkal: A locked house came under the net of looters, from where they looted away jewels, cash, and other valuables on 22nd July, Saturday here at Ali Miya colony in Azad Nagar, Bhatkal.

The burgled house belongs to the ownership of Sabiha Mushtak. Sources informed that the theft reported when the members of the house were out for Mangaluru with their personal work. The thieves made this as an advantage and entered the house by breaking the rear door. They broke away the wardrobes present in two different rooms in the house and looted the gold ornaments along with cash amount. As per the house members, it is believed that the looters have taken a huge amount of money.
