Bhatkal: Uttara Kannada Deputy Commissioner S S Nakul, has passed an exile order to a Murdeshwar Sri Ram Sene leader Jayanth Naik for next three months.

According to sources, after receiving the order, the district police immediately detained Jayanth Naik and dropped him at the Yellapur-Hubli border.

Reacting to the order, it is said that Jayanth may appeal to the high court against the order. Since Sunday and Monday are being observed as court holidays, the legal hearing maybe awaited till Tuesday. 

If high court judgment rejects his appeal, Jayanth needs to stay away from the district for 3 months. If he is found entering the district by violating the orders, police department will arrest him for doing so.
