Bhatkal: A 21-Year old, Bharati Madev Naik committed suicide by hanging herself to the roof of the house. The incident took place near Bailur under Murdeshwar police station limit in Bhatkal taluk on 2nd September, Friday.

According to sources, Bharati was residing in Bengaluru since many years. Also, a year ago she had a love-affair with a youth to whom she married and stayed at Bailur in Bhatkal. Exact reason behind her suicide is not yet known.

A case has been registered in Murdeshwar police station and police are investigating.
