Ankola: A girl pedestrian of standard 1st was hit by a speeding bike causing her death after certain treatments, that reported on 14th September, Wednesday near here in Ankola.

The deceased victim has been identified as Divya Prakash (06), a student of Hadsinagadde primary school in Honnabail of Ankola.

According to sources, the girl was heading towards her home as usual after finishing her school in the evening when the speedy bike hit her, which led her to meet with serious injuries. She has been taken to government hospital in the next day, but they reffered to other hospitals for better treatment and she was shifted to Honnavar hospital. For further more treatments, when she was made to rush Hubli hospitals, she succumbed to her injuries on the way to Hubli.

A case has been registered by victim's father Prakash Jogi Naik at Ankola police station.
