Bhatkal: Town-based RNS Hospital & RNS Educational Institution is jointly organising a blood donation camp and essay competition for high school students of the taluk on August 9 in the town, on the occasion of 90th birthday of Entrepreneur Dr R N Shetty.

The topic is ‘Role of parents in the overall development of children’. It will be conducted in both English and Kannada languages at Murdeshwara RNS PU College, at 10 am on August 9. The blood donation camp will be organised in association with Karwar Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) at RNS Hospital from 10 am to 1 pm.
