UDUPI: A fisherman died after the conventional boat in which he was fishing capsized at Gopadi in Kundapur on Saturday.

According to the sources, the deceased fisherman was identified as Narasimha Moagaveera, aged 66 years.

He, along with two others, was fishing when the tragedy stuck. The trio, after casting the fish net in the sea, was pulling it back when the boat was hit by a wave. While the two other fishermen swam and reached the shore, Narasimha drowned in the sea.
