Yellapur: In an incident reported here at Hunshettiyan in Yellapur taluk recently, a boy drowned in the water tank while swimming.

The deceased was identified as Dinesh Chennappa Varegowda of Yellapur taluk. 

According to the sources, Dinesh of Kamarkatte village along with his friends was swimming in the water tank when he accidentally drowned.

Yellapur police have registered a case.
