Byndoor: Five fishermen were rescued from a boat that was caught in the rough sea at Shiroor in Byndoor taluk on Sunday. 

The gill net boat named Bibi Ameena is owned by Sadke Mushtaq. The boat started capsizing after getting caught in the rough sea.

The fishermen on board informed the concerned of the impending danger, who in turn alerted the fishermen fishing in the nearby areas.

The rescued fishermen were identified as Mushtaq, Shabeer, Abubakar, Ashraf and Bomba Meera.
