Karwar: Activist under Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) observed ‘Dhoka Diwas’ in Karwar recently to marked three-years of Narendra Modi-led NDA government at the Centre.

They burnt a copy of the manifesto of NDA government.

People cheated: CITU State unit Secretary Yamuna Goankar said that BJP government, by reducing the budget allocation, refusing even minimum wages to labourers and not implementing the recommendations by 'Indian National Labourers’ Convention on working women, has cheated the people.

“Price rise, corruption, communal hatred, minority atrocity, murder of dalits have all increased in their regime. Those questioning it are being portrayed as national enemies and are being sent to jail”, she alleged.

Indians neglected: Yamuna Goankar said that the three years of Modi government is worse than the previous United Progressive Alliance government. Claiming to be supporting ‘Swadeshi’, the government is getting ‘ Vidhesi’ investment (foreign direct investment).

Neglecting Indians and encouraging outsiders is the biggest achievement of this government.
