Bhatkal: Anjuman Hami e Muslimeen on Saturday, 29th December, called a press meeting to explain about the centenary celebration and its preparations here at Jukaku Shamsuddin Memorial administrative building in Anjumanabad, Bhatkal.
Addressing the pressmeet, President Jukaku Abdur Raheem said, The celebration will commence on 3rd January 2019, with a procession highlighting the Anjuman’s contribution in the field of education in Bhatkal town from 2 PM, starting from Anjumanabad Campus and will end by going towards Shamshuddin Circle, main road, Sultan street, Mohammed Ali road, Bazaar Road to Islamia Anglo Urdu High School, Bhatkal.
The main inaugural function will be held on Saturday, 5th January 2019 at 9 AM in which Karnataka Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy will be the chief guest. Karnataka cabinet Ministers, Karnataka revenue minister RV Deshpande; Urban Development and Housing Minister UT Khader; Minister For Food & Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs, Minority Welfare & Wakf, Zameer Ahmed Khan; Bhatkal MLA Sunil B Naik; Sirsi MLA Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri and former MLA Mankal Vaidya will be among the guests of honour.
President of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, Jukaku Abdur Raheem will preside over the event.
Anjuman centenary Celebration launching ceremony will be under the auspicious presence of Maulana Ghulam Muhammed Vastanvi, President Jamia Islamia Isha'atul Uloom, Akkalkuwa.
On the same day, members, staff, Rank Holders in university will be felicitated and cultural program will be held, in which schools and college students will give their performances.
Day-3 on 6th Janauary 2019, Sunday, which will be exclusively for ladies program where, Fathima Muzaffer, member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board will be chief guest, Nasreen Zaheer, Mphasis Ltd and Dr. Savitha Kamath, Bhatkal will be guest of honour.
Rabiya w/o usman Hasan Jubapu, Founder teacher of Anjuman Girls High School, Bhatkal will preside over the function.
At same night, i.e 6th January 2019, cultural and entertainment showcase will be convened by Nawayath Mehfil, Bhatkal.
