Responding to the sharp single spike of 1500+ new cases of Covid the Dakshina Kannada District Administration has withdrawn relaxation of curfew in the city.
Announcing this, the Deputy Commissioner Dr K V Rajendra said henceforth purchase of essential items will be allowed only from 6.00 to 9.00 a.m.
People should return home and all grocery shops should close by 10:00 a.m.

The Kerala government on Thursday announced a complete lockdown in the state from May 8 morning in view of the severe COVID-19 surge in the second wave of the pandemic.
