Police and officials from the Mines and Geology, the Public Works and Revenue Departments on Monday seized 1,300 truckloads of sand, stocked illegally, in different places under the Bajpe police station limits.
The police said that on a tip-off the team raided sites in Margadangadi Muthoor, Kuppepadavu, Ganjimatha, Mura Suralpady and Kandavara on Monday morning.
