Bhatkal: In view of the upcoming festivals of Eid ul-Fitr, Ugadi, and Rath Utsav, the taluk administration on Wednesday organised a peace meeting in Bhatkal, bringing together Hindu and Muslim community leaders.

The meeting, chaired by Bhatkal Tahsildar Nagendra Kolashetty, was attended by prominent leaders from different religious communities and office-bearers of various organisations.

Bhatkal DySP Girish B and Police Inspector Diwakar also addressed the gathering, appealing to all community leaders to cooperate in maintaining peace and communal harmony during the festive period.
