Bhatkal: In a concluding session of the Civil services workshop held at Nagayaksha hall here in Bhatkal on 24th September, Sunday under the aegis of 'JD Naik Abhimani Balaga', the Rajyasabha member BK Hariprasad after inaugurating the session, addressed the public saying that the people should also gain awareness along with education.

Speaking on the occasion, he further interacted with the audience and said that the IAS officers should lead positively without affecting anyone. He said that the world's richest person Bill Gates never worshipped Laxmi, World famous scientist Einstein never worshipped Saraswati and also the Napoleon didn't worship Durga. They are considered as the world famous personalities. Pointing this, he directed the backward caste people to consider this and come forward in civil services. He expressed his feelings on the current situation regarding the strength of educated people which were less in the early generation is almost equal in the present generation, rather than getting increased.

In the gathering, around 50 people were felicitated for their outstanding achievements in various fields including Arts, Music, Dance, Sports. The program concluded in the evening at around 6:00 pm. Hundreds of audience witnessed the workshop with full enthusiasm.

On the occasion, famous personalities along with politicians including Kumar Bangarappa were present on the dais.
