Dubai: One of the most anticipated events of the year for the Bhatkal Community in Dubai and Northern Emirates is to be held on October 28th, 2016. Like previous year, this year’s BMJD annual get-together will be organized at Al Boom Tourist Village, Dubai.
The Chief Minister of Karnataka Mr. Siddaramaiah and Honorable Minister for forests and environment Mr. Ramnath Rai has been invited to grace the event as the chief guest and guest of honor respectively. Apart from them, notable personalities and VIPs from within UAE and India are also expected to attend the event.
The program is scheduled to begin at 4:00 pm, but the entry for the attendees will begin at 3:00 pm.The program will feature entertainment programs like skits, debates, Soliloquy (mono-acting), Na’aths and Hamds by community members and the Bhatkali students based in UAE.
BMJD will promote excellence in the field of education by presenting an “Academic Excellence Award” for 10th and 12th grade students residing in UAE who have excelled in their academics, informed the General Secretary of BMJD Mr. Mohammed Yusuf Bermaver. Parents are requested to submit the names of their wards to BMJD office before 15th October 2016.
A Quiz on the theme of the Islamic History of India will be organized prior to the programme and the prize winners will be announced during the event. Mr. Muizz Muallim (Convener of the event) and Mr. Yasir Kashimji (Vice Convener of Study Circle) can be contacted for participating and collecting the Quiz Question paper (e-mail: bmjd.gettogether@gmail.com). The last day for receiving the completed answer sheets is 20th October 2016.
For the event's entertainment, famous comedian duo of Hyderabad, Shabbir Khan and Sarwar Alam will be present.
A raffle draw will be conducted for guests arriving early, i.e., before 4:00 pm. Transportation facility will be available at periodic intervals from Al Ras and Dubai Health Care City Metro station from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
Entry tickets will be available from 9th October 2015 until 25th October 2016.
