Bahrain: Bhatkal Muslim Jamat hosted an Eid Milan program on 29th September, Thursday at Inter-continental Regency in Bahrain. Excellence in academics awards were given to Bhatkali students studying in Bahrain. Various entertainment programs were held for the audience which included program for kids, lucky draw and quiz.
Mouluvi Abdul Mateen Muniri, former general secretary of Bhatkal Muslim Jamat Dubai was the chief guest of the program. Addressing the audience, he stressed upon the proper guidance of parents to develop good character in children. Giving example of the legends, he also stressed on the present situation and the problems being faced by Bhatkal and how we can find solutions for them. Mohammed Younus Kazia, former general secretary of Bhatkal Muslim Khaleej Council presided over the function.
Enaas D/o Shoib Africa bagged the excellence in academics award for her excellent result with A+ mark. She was presented with a certificate and a trophy. Mushtaq Ekkeri, Shakir Rabbani and Munavar Ansar Peerzade sung beautiful poems and kept the audiences entertained, while Saud Siddiqua also sung a poem along with a naat which was appreciated by the audience.
Aysha Altaf Musbha was the first lucky draw winner who won 20gm gold coin. Hassan Ashar Ajaib got a Honda bike as the second prize in the lucky draw. Munavvar Ansar Peerzade got a gold coin as he was third winner. Bicycles were gifted to the kids. All the gifts were distributed to the winners by the members.
Abdul Gaffar Mohtesham(Jan) and Ismail Mohtesham (Jan) were also present on the Dias. Program was inaugurated by recitation of Quran along with the meaning by Anzala Siddiqua. Athar Peerzade, secretary of Bhatkal MuslimJamat Bahrain introduced the guests and welcomed them. Abdul Qadir Jailani, the president of the Jamat gave vote of thanks. Organizer of the program Abdul Razzak Khalifa ended the program with dua.
