Mangaluru: A student of Mechanical Engineering branch at NITK, Surathkal, committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor window of the Mechanical Engineering Department building of the college on Saturday.

The deceased is Anand Pathak (20), a native of Latur in Maharashtra.

A case has been registered.
