"PM from opposition would be much better for our nation...": Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav

New Delhi: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday said that a Prime Minister from the opposition parties would be much better than the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the country adding that he or she will be more dedicated to the nation. 

Arriving at the Delhi airport ahead of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) bloc coordination committee meeting tomorrow, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said, "We are going to the first meeting of the coordination committee. We will keep our opinion before the leaders there over the agenda, there is no problem with it."

"I have said before as well, that the PM face from the opposition would be much better and more deserving than today’s PM. He or she would be more dedicated to the country," he added. 

The first meeting of the Coordination Committee of the INDIA alliance will be held on September 13 in Delhi. 

Opposition bloc INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) in its third meeting in Mumbai on September 1 announced a 14-member coordination committee.
The 14-member committee includes KC Venugopal (Congress), Sharad Pawar (NCP), TR Baalu (DMK), Hemant Soren (JMM), Sanjay Raut (SS), Tejashvi Yadav (RJD), Abhishek Banerjee (TMC), Raghav Chaddha (AAP), Javed Ali Khan (SP), Lallan Singh (JD(U)), D Raja (CPI), Omar Abdullah (NC), Mehbooba Mufti (PDP) and one leader is from the CPI(M) that will give the name later.

INDIA alliance also decided to coordinate among themselves on political communication and media strategies and will campaign with the theme 'Judega Bharat, Jiteega India' in different languages.

INDIA bloc has held over three meetings so far. The first meeting of the joint opposition was held in Patna on June 23 and the second meeting was held in Bengaluru on July 17-18. The third and the recent meeting was held in Mumbai on August 31-September 1.
