Royal triumphs in Dubai’s Jukaku Champion Trophy; Madina finishes as runner-up; colorful finale features cooking competition

Dubai: The final match of the Jukaku Champion Trophy Season 2 cricket tournament was held at Sharjah Ground near Dubai, where Royal defeated Madina to claim the championship title, while Madina had to settle for the runner-up trophy.

During the grand finale ceremony, a cooking competition was also organized for women in two categories, attracting enthusiastic participation. In the sweet dish category, the famous Nawayathi breakfast "Shopa Pana Puding" won first prize, presented by Nadia Shabandri, wife of Sarfaraz Jukaku. A tough contest between Sweet Platter and Falooda resulted in a tie. Sweet Platter was prepared by Zahiya, wife of Waseem Gawai, while Falooda was made by Heena Sameen, wife of Siddique Ruknuddin.

In the spicy dish category, the renowned Nawayathi dish "Watwa Nahwari" won first place, prepared by Hala Kazia, wife of Usman Ghani Jukaku.

In the cricket tournament, Nauman Tahira from Madina team put up an outstanding performance, earning him the titles of "Man of the Series" and "Best Batsman". From the Royal team, Khalil Golte was awarded "Best Bowler", while Fauzan Armar was honored as the "Man of the Match".

The final event was graced by several distinguished personalities, including Shariyar Khatib, President of Bhatkal Muslim Jamaat; General Secretary Jailani Mohtisham; former President Abdul Qadir Basha Ruknuddin; former General Secretary Yusuf Barmawar; active Jamaat member Kokari Sameer, as well as the tournament organizer Sarfaraz Jukaku, among other notable attendees.
