Essay and Elocution Competitions on the 50th Anniversary of Al-Nawayat Abu Dhabi; Prizes of One Lakh Rupees; Open to All Bhatkalis

Abu Dhabi: The 50th-anniversary celebration of Al-Nawayat Abu Dhabi, scheduled for November 18 during the annual get-together, promises to be a grand occasion for Bhatkalis worldwide. As part of the festivities, an essay writing and elocution by video clip competition has been organized, with attractive prizes awaiting the top three winners. The competition is open to all Bhatkalis regardless of their location.

Aftab MJ, the General Secretary of the Jamaat, made the official announcement and shared important details regarding the competitions. The competition is aptly themed "Ahle Bhatkal cho Jamati Nizam, Amchi meeras - amcho mustaqbil" (Preserving our roots - cultivating our destiny) for both the essay writing and elocution competitions.

Any Bhatkali is welcome to participate in both competitions. While the essay writing competition is open to all ages, the elocution by video clip competition is reserved for Bhatkalis under the age of 15.

For the essay competition, participants are required to craft an essay under 400 words and submit it as a PDF file to the provided email address. On the other hand, participants in the elocution competition should dress appropriately and prepare a three-minute video clip, which they should also send via email.

All contest entries must be sent to the following email address: alnawayathabudhabi50@gmail.com The deadline for submission is October 31, 2023.

The winners' names will be revealed during the 50th-anniversary celebration on November 18. Additionally, selected speeches' video clips will be screened during the event.

The Abu Dhabi Jamaat, led by Mr. Ashraf Ali Musbah, comprises 170 members, including 21 executive members. Aftab MJ serves as the General Secretary, and Mr. Ashraf Kola is the convenor of the fifty-year celebration event.
