Udupi: Drivers of both the vehicles including 4 passengers sustained multiple injuries after a truck and a private bus had an head-on collision on Shirur NH66 in Byndoor taluk of Udupi district on Tuesday morning. 

In the incident, the truck driver who is reported critical, has been shifted to Kundapur hospital. Both the vehicles were damaged in the front portion due to the impact of collision.

As the information was alerted, Byndoor police personnel rushed to the spot and conducted the necessary investigation. Taffic jam was observed for few minutes after the accident, which was later resumed with the help of traffic police.

A case stands registered at Byndoor police station.
