Mangaluru: An accidental fire erupted at the Lady Goschan hospital here in Mangaluru on Sunday afternoon at around 1 PM.

Sources informed that fire erupted due to short circuit. Four children were getting treated in the ward which got fire, when the mishap took place. The children were immediately rescued by the hospital staffs and are reported safe from the tragedy. They have been shifted to Wenlock hospital.

As the information was alerted, fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot. But, the hospital staff doused the fire before the fire extinguishers had rushed to the hospital.
