Karwar: A fisherman drowned in the sea after his boat capsized while fishing at Kormagada beach area limits at Karwar on 1st August, Monday. 

The deceased has been identified as Narayana Harikantra.

As per the sources, the deceased was reportedly fishing in the sea when his boat overturned when heavy waves lashed against it.

A case has been registered in Karwar police station.
