Bhatkal: A free medical check-up camp will be organised at Welfare Hospital, Bhatkal, by the Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation (BMYF) in association with A.J. Hospital, Mangaluru, on September 20, 2026 (Sunday). The camp will be held from 10 am to 2 pm.

Providing information at a press conference, the organisers said that specialists from various medical fields will examine patients and provide free medical consultations at the camp. The specialists include Dr. Roshan Shetty, Urologist; Dr. Pavithra, Paediatrician; Dr. Deepalakshmi, ENT Specialist; and Dr. Hannan, Orthopedic Surgeon. Free ECG testing will also be provided at the camp.

According to the organisers, patients requiring further medical investigations can avail themselves of the necessary diagnostic services at Welfare Hospital. Patients referred for further treatment will receive 20% to 40% discounts on eligible laboratory tests, radiology, medicines and other diagnostic services, while applicable concessions will also be provided on hospital admission.

The organisers appealed to the public to make full use of the free medical camp and benefit from the examination and consultation services provided by specialist doctors.
