Mangaluru: As many as 14 persons were arrested by the police for Gambling near near the railway track at Baikampady near Mangaluru in Dakshina Kannada district.

The arrested are identified as Mahadeva Gowda, Maleyappa Kambar, Vittalanatha, Sunil, Gautham Shetty, Murthuz Imam Sab Chakkadi, Rajesh, Balappa, Shivappa, Gangadar Kanibappa Kayakad, Puttaraju, Hanumappa, Mallikarjuna and Gulab.

Police also seized stake money of 
Rs 14,300, playing cards and a plastic sheet from their possession.
