Mangaluru: Nine persons were arrested by the Panambur police on the charges of gambling at Panambur near Mangaluru on Tuesday.

The arrested are Munna alias Hariprsad. Lingaraju, Jayanth, Prasad, Ramesh, Theerthaprasad, Karthik, Sharath and Mohammed Salim.

According to DCP (Crime) Uma Prashanth, the police seized Rs 12,600 cash and the cards used for playing.
