Sirsi: Popular Front of India Sirsi division on Sunday, 30th September, organized a get-together programme at Maniyar hall near Sirsi which was attended by social activists, community leaders and cadres.
Mohsin Honnavar, President of Sirsi-division of Popular Front, addressed the meeting and introduced the organization. He appealed to the participants to resist the persecution of minorities, especially Muslim community in the country by fascist forces and a section of media under their control.
He explained that Popular Front of India too itself is a victim of such attempts to vilify the organization linking it with terrorism or with similar false accusations.
This was followed with a speech by Maulana Mouzzam, Kundapur district secretary of PFI.
State-central zonal member of PFI, Janab Mujahid Hubli spoke to the delegates and an open house discussion was conducted along with multimedia presentation (video) on current affairs.
Abdul Gafaar, secretary of Sirsi-division Popular Front, delivered vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to the people and thanked them for attending the event.
PFI Sirsi city area secretary Mohsin Khan, Sultan area President Ismail, Usmaniya area President Saddam Hussein and scores of PFI cadres were present during the occasion.
