Honnavar: Ninth standard student K L Girish of New English High School in Prabhat Nagar in Honnavar has secured first place for the district in the Science-Maths Olympiad exam conducted by Karnataka Rajya Vijnan Parishat, Bengaluru for ninth standard students.

Girish has also been selected to participate in the State-level Olympiad exam to be held in Mysuru.
