Kumta girl to get Bravery award for saving her younger brother from bull rampage

Kumta: Like every year on the occasion of Children's Day, state government hosts an event, in which an award named 'Bravery Award' is given for few selected brave children for their intelligent works. Among the few selected children, the government has also nominated the name of Kumta girl who had saved her little brother from the bull rampage few months ago, whose entire footage was captured by the nearby installed CC camera.

The girl who will receive this award is Arathi Shetty D/o Kiran Shetty of Navilgon region in Kumta taluk.

It shall be remembered that few months ago, when Arathi's younger brother was playing outside their house, suddenly an enraged bull tried to attack him, after which Arathi who is just few years elder than her brother, demonstrating her courage, saved her brother from falling under the bull attack. The entire scene, which was recorded by the CCTV camera, went viral on all platforms of social medias, after which Arathi received tons of appreciations and encouragements from everywhere.

Arathi will be receiving the Bravery award on the occasion of Children's Day celebration which will organized under the aegis of State government on 14th November at Cubbon park in Bengaluru.
