Karwar: The Excise officials have seized around 63 litres of Goan liquor during a raid conducted two different spots in Ramanagara limits in Joida taluk and Gopshitta in Karwar taluk recently.

In the raid at Gopshitta, 36 litres of Goan liquor was seized. A man named Vishnu Kolvekar of Bhaire village was also taken into custody. In Ramanagara, 27 litre liquor was seized.

Accused Datta Nilajker went absconding.
