Tussle between three workers at Gangolli, one stab other two with knife

Gangolli: In an incident which took place near Church road in Gangolli, the fight between three laborers went so far that one among them injured his other two co-workers by attacking them with a knife.

According to the received information, the three laborers Rajesh, Bhaskar and Viany who were working at a construction site on Church road got involved in a scrimmage for unknown reason. Consequently, Vinay plunged a knife into Bhasker’s belly. In between this he even attacked the other person, which resulted in the knife getting plunged into Rajesh’s thigh. The hands of Rajesh were also injured in attempt to save himself from the attack.

It is said that soon after attacking his co-workers, Vinay stealthily tried to flee away from the place after collecting his bag from the room. But as soon as the news was received, police had already reached the incident spot and collected the information. Vinay who was trying to flee, was stopped by police near Tawheed School and was taken to police station on the basis of suspicion. The investigation at the police station confirmed the crime made by him and he was taken into the police custody.

The injured have been admitted to the Kundapur Hospital.

It is said that Vinay hailed from Assam, whereas, Rajesh and Bhasker were the natives of Mangaluru. Sources said that Rajesh and Bhasker had come to work in Gangolli just before three days. The reason for the fight between the three is not yet known.

The case has been registered in Gangolli police station and PSI Subanna is investigating the case.
