Honnavar: Two of the youths feared drowned into the Arabian sea in Apsarkonda of Honnavar taluk on 10th July​, Monday. The bodies were reported missing after the incident and but one of them has been traced on Tuesday morning.

Sources said that a group of around 16 friends hailing from Gangawati and Bengaluru had been to Idagunji village to attend the marriage ceremony. Later in the evening, they​ went to the beach for swimming. While swimming, the heavy lashing waves took away two of them and went on missing after drowning.

The drowned youths have been identified as Jayanth Joshi (23) and Navish (22).

A case has been registered in Manki police station.
