Honnavar: “In view of unifying Muslim community of the town and to solve their problems, an organization has been formed namely ‘Honnavar Tanzeem Society’ which will be officially unveiled on 13th January 2019”, informed President of Honnavar Tanzeem Society Muhammad Ali Shaikh.

Speaking with SahilOnline, he said that this organization is concerned with only Muslim citizens of the town for time being and will be later expanded in the surrounding villages coming under Honnavar taluk. The membership campaign has already begun in this regard.

Explaining about the official unveiling ceremony of the organization, Muhammad Ali said that the event will be hosted in a grand concept, for which the preparations are already underway with full efficiency. The eminent personalities from all over the Uttar Kannada district will be invited in the event. "The unveiling ceremony, which is scheduled on 13th January at Jeevan Jyothi hall here in Palya road will commence sharp at 10 AM and will last at 1 PM, followed with lunch thereafter.

Muhammad Ali has asked the people of Honnavar and neighbouring regions to witness the event in huge number and make it a grand success.

Honnavar Tanzeem Society is registered with 12 executive members in which office bearers elected are as follows:
