Karwar: An illegal liquor from Goa, costing around ten thousand rupees, was seized by railway police when it was made plying through train, that reported on 28th August, Sunday near here at Karwar.

As per the initial reports, it is said that the illegal liquor was carried on a Madgao - Mangaluru train, when authorities marked inspection. Four bags of Goan alcohol bottles bearing different names were found, after which they were seized. A railway police personnel led by Yusuf and others were present during a raid. 

In this regard, a case has been registered.
