Bhatkal: Anjuman Pre-University College for Women began the pre-centenary celebrations of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen by Inter Collegiate Competition on'Skills and Thrills’ at the Khatija Syed Ali Campus near Shamshuddin Circle in Bhatkal. 

The chief guests for the event was Mrs. Archana Naik, Alumunus of Anjuman and Principal, Siddharha PU College, Bhatkal.

Addressing the gathering, Archana Naik remembered her past teachers and professor who taught her in her high school and colleges. 

Anjuman had given a lot of products, where my whole family is Anjuman family.

In her address she also said, Technology had developed, but you students feels that teachers are not necessary. But teachers are always necessary and always to be remembered. Technology is very selfish and it will be vanished, but teachers are not vanished and remembered in everyone hearts, she noted.

Teachers will think their students should reach the destination and achieve goals of life. 

She advised the students to take part in competitive examination. 

More than 75 teams participated in fruit carvings, Best out of waste, Lunch table decoration and Islamic Models.

The program began with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran by Sumayya, translated by Munawwara, followed by the Naat by Farrukh Shaikh, Aysha Rabiya and group sang the Anjuman Tarana song, while Radhika Acharya welcomed and introduced the guest, Ladies Advisory Committee of AHM Mrs Seema Kasimiji spoke on details of Centenary celebration of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, Bhatkal and Miss Sabiha Parveen delivered the vote of thanks. 

The inaguaration was hosted by Vice-Principal Mrs Taliah Muallim.

Prinicpal Dr. Farzana Mohtesham , Mrs Sadiqua and many others were present.
