Bhatkal: A 34-year-old national-level Kabaddi player Manoj Naik of Bhatkal died of cardiac arrest in Kundapur on Tuesday. 

He is survived by mother, three sisters and a brother. He was a member of Parashuram Sports Club of Bhatkal.

He had played a vital role in the victory of his team in several State-level Kabaddi matches. He had represented the Karnataka Kabaddi team in the national-level Kabaddi championship held in 2009 and 2015. He had bagged several awards.
