Karkala: In a bizarre incident, which occurred here at Borgalgudde, a teenage student ended her life by hanging at her residence on 21st September, Thursday.

The deceased girl has been identified as Pratiksha, a resident of Borgalgudde in Karkala.

According to the sources, Pratiksha was an SSLC student studying at a private school here. The stress related to the studies is suspected as a reason for taking such an extreme step.

A case has been registered at Karkala rural police station and further investigation is under progress.
