Karwar: During a raid by RPF authorities, a set of several illegal liquor bottles were seized when it was being trafficked in a Kurla-Mangaluru Matsyaganda express passenger train on 16th September, Friday in Karwar.

As the information received by police regarding illegal trafficking of Goan liquor, they immediately rushed for a raid where they caught around 596 bottles of liquor bearing different brand names costing about 20,000 rupees. Also the liquor was further handed over to Karwar excise department. Further investigations are on.
