Karwar: An ASI attached to the Traffic Police Station here breathed his last while on duty following a massive cardiac arrest.

The deceased Abdul Khader Mohammad Shiekh (58) is survived by wife, and two sons.

The policeman collapsed in his office after returning from the Republic Day programme. Other staff rushed him to the hospital, but Abdul did not respond to treatment and died.
