Aden: King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action will undertake the task of transfer and treatment of those injured in terrorist bombings that occurred on Sunday in Aden, resulting in a number of deaths and injuries.
Adviser at the Royal Court and the General Supervisor of the center Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabi’ah in a press statement announced that in line with the implementation of the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to check Yemenis conditions and meet their needs, the center decided to receive a number of wounded people in the Yemeni private sector facilities at its own expense in coordination with the Ministry of the Public Health and Population of Yemen and the office of the center in Aden.
A suicide bomber from the Daesh group killed at least 48 Yemeni soldiers in Aden Sunday, the latest in a string of deadly attacks against recruits in the country’s second city.
Military officials and medics said dozens more were wounded in the attack that targeted a crowd of servicemen who had gathered to collect their salaries near a base in northeastern Aden.
The attack was carried out by a suicide bomber who blended in among soldiers crowding outside the house of the head of special security forces.
Images from the blast scene showed blood stains and scattered shoes across the sandy ground.
