Kumta: In a district level sports meet held at a taluka stadium Manki ground on Satyrday 24th September, the girls team for Kabaddi from Santegulli govt high school Kumta bagged first place and have registered it's name for division level, after defeating Bhatkal's Rani Chennamma residential high school by 6 points.

Team representing Kumta  reached 17-points, while Bhatkal had recieved11-points when the final time lapped up, giving the first place winning title to Santegulli high school Kumta.

It maybe noted that, qualified team Kumta will be playing in division level in the month of November in Chikkodi of Belgaum district.

For the remarkable performances by the students, Headmistress of school SN Habbu, P.E Sir MK Hegde, Manager Ekbath Rautkar & Zahid Sarang, Miss Fouziya Shaikh and others have given their hearty congratulations. Everyone has high expectations from them to give their best in the division level competition and make the school and the taluk proud by gaining the winner title.
