Kumta: The students of Dayanilaya special school got qualified for state level sports of physically challenged students. 

Around 8 students from this school had participated in the division level sports that held in Manipal on 4th October.

In Floorball game, Chandrahas Shet, Renil Gomez and Sandesh Harikantra got qualified. And in Floor hockey game, Abhishek Patgar, Joseph Dsouza, and Srivatsa Bhat were selected for state level. Students were trained by the coach Balakrishna Korgaonkar, who is a Physical Education teacher.
