Kundapur: 2 different road accidents took place at the Kundapur-Trasi NH 66 where one person died while 5 were severely injured. Among the injured, a child is in extreme critical condition.  

The first accident took place between a bike and a tipper truck on the Trasi junction causing the death of the biker. The victim has been identified as Rajesh Pujari, (25) a MBA student and resident of Kundapur. He succumbed while on the way to Kundapur Hospital. He was travelling from Trasi to Kundapur when the accident occurred. According to witnesses, the accident was extremely brutal as the tipper’s tire went over the victim’s head.

The second accident occurred half an hour later in Marvanthe beach near Trasi when the car traveling from Honnaver to Mangalore lost control and flipped over leaving 5 injured. Among the 5 members, the child in a critical condition has been shifted to Manipal along with the injured mother. The rest 3 members are being treated in the Chinmayi Hospital Kundapur.
