Bhatkal: Education plays a vital role in shaping the personality of future citizens of the country. Hence, there is a need impart to good education to children for the overall development of the country, suggested Uttara Kannada District In-charge Minister Kota Shrinivas Poojari. 

He was speaking after inaugurating the decennial ceremony of Siddartha Education Institution at Shirali in Bhatkal.

He said, along with education, moral values should be imparted among the children as they have a greater role to play in the progress of society. 

He praised that Siddartha Education Institution is striving to provide quality education to the children. The institution that started in a small building ten years ago, has now grown as a big institution. Thousands of students of this region are studying at the institution. It is a matter of pride that many old students of the school are in good positions today, he expressed happiness.
