Madare Hawwa school students visit Bhatkal post office; learn about the early way of conveying information

Bhatkal: Students of Madare Hawwa Islamic school of Bhatkal on Thursday made a visit to the post office in the town to study the early ways of conveying information from one place to another through posts.

Post-Master Uday Shiralikar briefly explained the students about the procedure used to convey information via post in and outside India. He also thought the entire procedure required to follow up in order to make the information reach the concerned person. The importance of stamps used on envelope was the also explained. 

It shall be noted that this initiative was taken by the school management to make students know use of post offices practically which they are undergoing with theory studies in their syllabus textbooks. They also wanted to know about how people in the early era before the advent of internet made use of this post services. The current technology of mailing and social media has overtaken the early methods. 

School management members including Hawwa Nasreen Damudi, joint secretary Safwan Motia and others were present on this occasion.
