Bhatkal: Anfa kept alive when Minhaj Tahira hit a four in alst ball of a match to a six-wicket win over Lion in Madeena Indian Premier League match that went down to the wire here on Thursday eveing.

Chasing 160, Anfa rode on Minhaj's knock to secure a last-ball win against the butter-fingered Lion who dropped some chances.

The opener of Imran Lanka (67, 54b, 8X4, 3X6) and Abdul Baqi (47, 42b, 3X4, 1X6) shared a 87-run partnership for the second wicket to keep Anfa in the hunt.

Anfa chased target in last ball with a boundary by Minhaj.

Earlier, Lion star batsman Niyamatullah batted well and score 50 plus runs.

Niayamt scored 74 from 63 balls with six fours and five sixes.

Abdul Baqi of Anfa bagged three wickets in his four-over spell.

Anfa won by six wickets.
