Bhatkal: After their bowlers restricted Employee Cricket Bhatkal (ECB) to 80 runs, Zakwan SM scored an unbeaten 36 runs, while Nasrullah Askeri scored 30 runs to take Moonstar home with easy win in League Match of Madeena T20 Cup here at Kola Ground on Saturday.

Nasrullah and Zakwan put on 49 for the opening wicket to lead Moonstar to a commanding nine-wicket win over the ECB.

Zakwan was in supreme touch as he remained unbeaten on 36 off 21 balls, which included one six and five fours. Moonstar then raced to the target of 81 with nine wickets in hands and in just 8.0 overs.

Similar to ECB innings earlier, Ravi Naik was the only one batsman to score some runs, as ECB raced to 80 runs on board.

All the Moonstar bowlers took wickets with Shamveel (15/3), Nasrullah (13/3), Zakwan (3/1), Nazim (13/2) and Namaan (7/1).
