Karwar: An accused who was illegally transporting leopard pelt and teeth was sent to judicial custody on Thursday, reports DHNS from Karwar.

The accused was identified as Kamalesh Naik of Hebbalemane of Kallabbe in Kumta.

Based on a definite tip-off that a man was carrying leopard pelt in the industrial area at Hegde in Kumta taluk, the forest officials conducted an operation and arrested the accused.
