Udupi: A man was killed after he was struck by lightning at Kaikamba in Ajekaru of Karkala taluk in Udupi district on Friday.

The deceased is identified as Prashanth Pai. He was working in a software firm in Bengaluru.

Pai had come to his relative’s house at Marne. He had visited the Harikhandige Temple at Bairampalli and was returning when he was struck by the lightning.
